Instow

Instow's Individual Properties Instow is a very sought after affluent village, popular with artists, photographers and boat owners.  It provides extensive views of the Atlantic Ocean whilst also overlooking Appledore across the Taw and Torridge Estuary, depending on which direction you are looking. 

Instow has picturesque surrounding scenery, attractive walks, a golden beach, sand dunes and the North Devon Yacht Club - this club attracts yachts of all sizes sprinkling the waterline with interesting masts whether the tide is in or not.  It also offers excellent restaurants, bed and breakfast accommodation, a beachside hotel, and a couple of individual shops, or even queue with the locals on a Wednesday at 5 p.m. and buy your fish direct from the fisherman when he lands his catch.  Instow is approximately four miles from the port and market town of Bideford and six miles from Barnstaple, the North Devon regional centre.
